Tuesday, March 24th, Wednesday, April 1st, & Friday, April 3rd, 2026

Pre-registration for ALL contests will be completed via JudgingCard.com using your existing chapter login information. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. To best prepare for the contests regarding resources and scantrons, it is imperative an accurate student contestant count be available to the superintendents prior to the contest. Also, to compensate for contest expenses, no refunds will be given to teams/individuals who do not attend.

GENERAL RULES:

ELIGIBILITY TO COMPETE: Any 4-H or FFA member is eligible to participate. There will be no limit on the number of individuals or teams from a school group or a 4-H group participating in any contest (excluding the speech contest). All individuals and the highest placing team in each contest from your school will earn sweepstakes points. In speeches, the highest 2 placing individuals from a chapter in each division will earn sweepstakes points.

 

CONTEST RULES: Contests will be conducted according to Oklahoma State University Interscholastic guidelines for FFA, excluding livestock and horse. Information is available at the following website: http://cde.okstate.edu/guidelines/cde-guidelines

 

CONTESTANT PREPARATION: NEO will provide official scantrons for all necessary contests. Students participating in a contest utilizing scantrons will need to bring a clipboard and No. 2 pencils. Note additional contest specifics below.

 

ELIGIBILITY FOR SWEEPSTAKES: A FFA Chapter or 4-H Club must earn points in 2 or more different contests. 4-H Clubs will compete in the multiple teacher division. Only two divisions of awards (single teacher or multiple teachers) will be presented. All states will compete for common awards.

One single teacher and one multiple teacher award will be announced on the 2026 Aggie Days GroupMe and NEO Ag Department Facebook page within a week after completion of Aggie Days. Sweepstakes awards will be available at the Oklahoma State FFA convention for Oklahoma chapters, and all others will be mailed.

 

Points for the Sweepstakes Awards are to be computed according to the following scale:

ENTOMOLOGY: Check- in at the Student Activity Center at 8:00. Contest at 8:30 a.m. Contact Paul Atkins at 918-540-6247 or paul.atkins@neo.edu   

 

ENVIRONMENTAL & NATURAL RESOURCES: Check-in at the Student Activity Center at 8:00am. The contest starts at 9:00 a.m. Contact Mattie Haynes at 918-540-6069 or

FARM & AGRIBUSINESS MANAGEMENT: Check-in at the Student Activity Center at

8:00. Contest starts at 9:00 a.m. Contest will consist of 50 to 100 objective questions.

FLORICULTURE: Check- in at the Student Activity Center at 8:00am. Contest starts at

9:00 a.m. Contest may consist of 200 point general knowledge exam, 150-point placing, and 200-point specimen identification. Contact Mattie Haynes at 918-540-6069 or mattie.haynes@neo.edu

 

FOOD SCIENCE: Check-in at Student Activity Center at 8:00am. Contest starts at 9:00a.m. Contest will include but is not limited to aroma identification, difference testing, triangle test, and complaint letters. Contact Hannah Dozier at 918-540-6273 or hannah.dozier@neo.edu

 

LAND: Check- in at the Student Activity Center at 8:00 am. Leave for the field at 8:30 a.m. A supervisor will monitor each hole. Advisors are encouraged to carpool students to contest location. Contact Hannah Mclochlin at 918-540-6262 or hannah.mclochlin@neo.edu

 

MEATS: Check-in at Quapaw Meat Packing Facility at 8:00am. Contestants will enter the cooler at 9:00 a.m. The contest will be held at the Quapaw Meat Packing Facility (58850 E 66 Rd, Miami).  All fresh product provided by Quapaw Meats. The contest will consist of 5 classes, 2 sets of questions, beef grading, and 30 ID. Contestants are required to bring their own hard hats, clipboards, and #2 pencils. MILK QUALITY/DAIRY PRODUCTS: Check-in at the Student Activity Center at 8:00 am. **NOTE change as the contest will be held on campus.  The contest starts at 9:00 a.m. Contact Hannah Dozier at 918-540-6273 or hannah.dozier@neo.edu

 

NURSERY/LANDSCAPE: Check- in at the Student Activity Center at 8:00. The Nursery/Landscape contest starts at 9:00 a.m. The contest may consist of a 200 point general knowledge exam, 150 points placing, and 200-point specimen matching identification. POULTRY: Check-in at NEO Indoor Arena at 8:00 a.m. Contest starts at 8:30 a.m. The contest will be held at the Indoor Arena. For more information contact Mary Booth at 918-540-6998 or mary.booth@neo.edu

 

RANGELAND: Check-in at the Student Activity Center at 8:00am. Leave for the field at 8:30a.m. NRCS Staff are in charge. Contact Hannah McLochlin at 918-540-6262 or hannah.mclochlin@neo.edu

 

SPEECH CONTEST: Pre-registration is due via judgingcard.com by 5:00 p.m., Friday, March 20. Please include each speaker and division(s). Two speakers per chapter/club in each division except Creed three speakers per chapter/club. Extemporaneous speech preparation will begin at 5:00 pm and all other speeches will begin at 5:30 pm.

  • prior to noon on Friday, April 3rd.Changes or questions should be directed to Brittany Parker 918.540.6368. NO CHANGES WILL BE MADE AFTER NOON on Friday April 3.Order will be followed!Final Speech order and classroom assignments will be posted prior to 4:00 p.m. in the Student Union Atrium AND on Aggie Days GroupMe.

 

Competition Areas Include: Animal Science; Plant Science; Natural Resources; Agribusiness; Agriculture Policy; Agriscience; Creed (9th grade members only); Extemporaneous; 8th, 9th and 10th Grade General Agriculture; 8th Grade Agriculture Exploration; 9th Grade FFA Opportunities.

FRIDAY, APRIL 3rd AWARDS PRESENTATIONS:

ALL Awards will be presented at the completion of the respective contests on Friday, April 3rd in Commons Auditorium.  Speech awards will be presented at the conclusion of the speech competition.
